Nai Harn Beach, a sandy beach with a freshwater lake behind it, is 2.2 km away, and Big Buddha Phuket, the large white Buddha statue on a hilltop with wide views over the island, is 5.7 km away. Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples and a busy place of worship, lies further on, while Patong Beach and Bangla Road, the nightlife street, are further still.

Phuket is linked to the mainland by bridge, so the resort is reached by road, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 37.1 km away. For a day out, start at the fish market and the seashell museum, then head up to Big Buddha and on to Wat Chalong before returning to the coast for the afternoon.
