Modern Nature Retreat

Guests are offered a 50 m² room with a King bed, a garden view and air conditioning. The private bathroom has a shower, hair dryer and toiletries, and towels are provided. The room also has an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV and a fan.

The holiday home sleeps up to two guests, and children aged 3 to 12 can stay free of charge using the existing bedding. Extra beds come at an additional charge and depend on the room, so families with younger children can ask the property about a baby cot or crib, subject to availability.

The kitchen comes with a refrigerator, a stove, dishes and dining utensils, and a coffee or tea maker, and there is a washer for laundry. Guests also have an iron, a desk with workspace and a TV, and kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments are provided. Internet access is available.

The grounds include a garden and a balcony or terrace, and the property has a private entrance. Free parking is available on site, and there is a crib or baby cot for younger children. Air conditioning, a fan and a heater are provided for the rooms. Guests can also use the desk with workspace, and an iron and a washer are available for laundry and ironing.

Sri Thanu is a small village on the island of Ko Pha-ngan, where a stretch of beach sits alongside village houses, yoga studios and healing centres. The pace is slower than on the busier beaches of the island, and the village suits a stay built around the sea, the garden and quiet evenings.

Within a short walk are Wat Sri Thanu, a Buddhist temple 400 m away, and the local Food Market, 500 m away. The Ao Sri Thanu beach lies 700 m away, and the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint is 1.3 km away on the coast. Samui Airport is about 25 km away on the neighbouring island, so the journey to Ko Pha-ngan ends by boat.

On Ko Pha-ngan the day can be simple: a morning on the beach, a walk to the temple and the market, and an evening watching the sunset from the viewpoint. Yoga is part of village life here, with several studios nearby, and the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint is a good place to end the day. Ko Pha-ngan is known for its yoga retreats and its full moon parties, which take place on other beaches of the island rather than in Sri Thanu. If you arrive by car, the on-site car park is free to use.
