Nana BTS station is 550 m away and Asok BTS station is about 500 m from the home, both on the Sukhumvit line, which runs along the main road the home is named after. Both stations are a short walk from the home. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall with an aquarium and cinemas, lies 2.6 km away, and the Jim Thompson House museum, in the former home of the American who revived Thai silk, is 3.4 km away.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is 7.2 km away and makes a full day out, with thousands of stalls selling clothes, crafts and food at the weekend. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are in the old city beside the Chao Phraya river, a longer trip that is easier by taxi, and the lanes and night stalls of Sukhumvit make an easy walk in the evening.
