Mint Guesthouse Koh Tao

Rooms at Mint Guesthouse Koh Tao measure between 30 and 35 m² and sleep up to three guests, with either a garden view or a mountain view. Some rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries, and others have a balcony or terrace.

Rooms with a mountain view have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a fan and a coffee and tea maker, and both have a balcony or terrace. Sairee is the main beach area of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand that is best known for diving. The village runs along a strip of sand, with dive shops, cafés and small restaurants close to the water, and the property is 650 m from Sairee Beach. Travellers who come for the sea find this part of the island convenient, since the water and the shops are close together.

Koh Nang Yuan, a cluster of small islets joined by sandbars, is 3 km away and is a popular spot for snorkelling. New Way Diving, a dive shop, is 300 m away, and the monument to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) stands 1.2 km away. Getting here means flying into Samui Airport (USM), 66.1 km away on Ko Samui, and then taking a ferry across to Ko Tao, so the last part of the trip is by boat.

A good day here starts with a dive or snorkel trip from Sairee and can end on the sand at Sairee Beach. Koh Nang Yuan is a common day trip for snorkellers, and the Top of the rock viewpoint is a short outing from the property. Other sights include the Koh Tao Turtle Monument and the Rama V Shrine.
