The Wat Phutthathiwat temple is 600 m away and the clock tower 650 m, while the Betong District Municipality Fresh Market is 900 m away and the street art spot 800 m. Further out, the World's largest mailbox sits 1.1 km away, a quirky stop for photographs. Guests who travel by car can use the free parking at the property, and the town is easy to reach by road from the rest of Yala province.

A good plan is to start at the fresh market in the morning, then walk to the temple and the clock tower, and finish at the street art spot before heading back to the apartment and its air conditioning. The walk between the sights is short, so the day does not need a car for every stop.
