Mestyle Resort

The rooms at Mestyle Resort measure from 10 to 30 m² and sleep from two to four guests. Several of them overlook the pool, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a desk, a mini bar and a refrigerator.

Queen beds are offered in several of the rooms, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Some rooms have a whirlpool bathtub, and bathrobes and towels are provided in several of the rooms. Blackout curtains and flat-screen TVs are fitted in some of them, and free Wi-Fi reaches every room in the resort.

Mestyle Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a restaurant, a bar and room service. The 24-hour front desk is open around the clock, and the resort also has a convenience store, a laundry service and dry cleaning.

Free parking is available on site, and there is also parking nearby. Tours, car hire, bicycle rental and diving are available, as are ticket services and luggage storage, and an airport transfer is offered.

English and Thai are spoken, and the resort has meeting and banquet facilities. Kids meals are offered, a shared kitchen is available to guests, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Chumphon is a provincial town on the Gulf of Thailand in southern Thailand, with a relaxed pace, Chinese shrines and a railway history. Many of its best-known sights sit within a few kilometres of one another, so a day of sightseeing is easy to plan.

Chumphon Night Market, about 2 km away, is a lively evening market with food stalls and local goods. The Chumphon National Museum, 4.5 km away, covers the history and culture of the province, while the Monkey School, where monkeys are trained to pick coconuts, is 2.2 km away. Closer, the City Pillar Shrine and the King Rama V Monument are both 1.1 km away, and the locomotive monuments near the station recall the town's role on the southern rail line.

A good day starts with the Chumphon National Museum, then the shrines and temples in town, and the night market in the evening. Chumphon is also a gateway to the islands of the Gulf, so boats to the islands are part of the wider trip. Travellers heading further south by rail will find the town a convenient stop on the way, since the southern line passes through it. After a day out, the resort's pools offer a quieter end to the day.
