Merry Spa and Resort

Every room at Merry Spa and Resort looks onto the garden, has air conditioning and a TV, and offers a shower, bathrobes, toiletries, a hair dryer and towels. The rooms measure 30 to 35 m², and the bedding ranges from king beds to single beds.

Some rooms have a king bed and others have single beds, and the Deluxe room sleeps up to two guests. Satellite and cable channels come on the TV in some rooms, and the Twin Studio has blackout curtains. The rooms are cooled by individual air conditioning, and wired internet is offered in some of them as well.

The leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a spa and sauna with massage beds, body scrubs and body wraps, a fitness centre and a game room with billiards and table tennis. The resort is also family and child friendly.

For meals there are restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, and food delivery and alcohol are also available. There is a poolside bar as well.

Tours and diving can be arranged, and there are car hire, a shuttle service, a taxi service and an airport transfer. Luggage storage, laundry, dry cleaning and ironing are also available. Free parking is available on site, bicycle parking is offered, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Merry Spa and Resort sits in the town of Trang in southern Thailand, roughly 1.5 km from the town centre. Trang is a working provincial town rather than a beach resort, so the surroundings are about streets, markets and everyday town life. Local eateries and shops line the streets around the town, so everyday needs are close at hand. For the beaches, you will need to travel further from the town.

Trang Railway Station is 2.1 km from the resort and Trang Airport is 3.3 km away, so the town is straightforward to reach by train or plane. Krabi International Airport is 93.6 km away if you are flying into the wider region. Trang Clock Tower and the Nightmarket are both in town, while Trang Municipality Stadium and The Chair monument are close to the resort.

A day in Trang can start with a walk around the clock tower and continue to the night market, where street food stalls open in the evening. The coast and islands of Trang province, including Ko Libong, are reached by boat from the mainland, so they make a separate outing from a day in town. Anyone interested in the sea and its wildlife will find the coast a separate day from the town.
