Sairee is the best-known beach area on Ko Tao, a strip of sand lined with dive shops, cafes and bars. The resort is around 500 m from Sairee Beach, so the sand, the shops and the bars are a short walk away. Getting around the beach area is on foot, while the ferry pier is about 1.5 km away for boats to Ko Samui and the mainland.
