Wat Plai Laem, a temple complex with a large Guanyin statue, is 1.7 km away, and the Big Buddha, a statue on a hill, is 1.4 km from the hotel. Fisherman's Village, 2.8 km away, is the walking street of Bophut, lined with shops and cafés. Samui Airport is close by, and the Bangrak pier for boats to other islands is close as well, so the coast road is the main link between the hotel and the rest of the island.

A good day could take in the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, then a walk along Fisherman's Village in the evening. The Night Market, 2.9 km from the hotel, is open after dark, and Nora Beach, another stretch of sand in the Bophut area, is also nearby. The Big Buddha is a quieter place to spend the afternoon, while the Night Market and Fisherman's Village give the area a lively feel once the sun goes down.
