Big Buddha Phuket, the large seated statue on a hilltop, is 6.8 km away, and the Sunsuri Sunset Market is 1.4 km. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, and the beaches on this coast are spread out, so a car or scooter is useful for getting around.

A good day here starts with a walk along Yanui Beach and continues to Promthep Cape, the headland known for its sunsets over the sea. The coast here is less built up than Patong, so the sea-facing walks feel quieter. The rainy season can make the sea rougher, and some boat trips may be cancelled.
