Malila Sea Breeze Hostel

All rooms at Malila Sea Breeze Hostel have air conditioning, and they measure from 24 to 50 m². Most of the accommodation is in mixed dormitory rooms with single beds or bunk beds, and there is also a 33 m² twin room for two guests with a sea view.

Several dormitory rooms have blackout curtains, reading lights and soundproofing, and bedding and towels are part of the set-up in a number of rooms. The nearest airport is Samui Airport, 62.9 km away on Koh Samui, so the last stage of the journey is by sea.

The hostel is 270 m from the beach, and Ao Thian and Freedom Beach are among the nearest beaches to the hostel. The John - Suwan Mountain View Point, 550 m away, looks over the Chalok and Thian bays. Sairee Beach, one of the island's main beaches, is 2.8 km away, and Koh Nang Yuan, a group of small islands, is 6 km away and reached by boat.

A day here can start with a walk up to the viewpoint above the bays, followed by a swim at the beach and a session of diving or snorkelling from one of the bays. A boat trip out to the islands is the natural next step. Tours can be arranged, and during the rainy months rougher seas can affect boat trips. The restaurants and the coffee shop on site make the evening simple.
