Maiyai Resort - Big Tree offers standard twin rooms, family rooms and one-bedroom suites, several of them with a balcony and some with a garden view. The family rooms sleep up to four guests, and the suites sleep up to four as well.

Wat Tabaek Lai is the nearest sight at 650 m, and the Northeast Corner of City Wall Fort, part of the old fortifications, is 1.2 km away. The Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site of ruins from an ancient city, is 2.3 km from the hotel, and the Kamphaeng Phet National Museum is 1.7 km away. Sirichit Utthayan, a town park with a fountain, is 2.5 km away.

Getting around is easy on the hotel's bicycles: you can ride to the historical park and the museum at your own pace and come back to the garden in the afternoon. The ruins are best seen with time to walk among them, so a full morning gives you the historical park, the old city walls and the museum without rushing. Both the walls and the museum are within a few kilometres of the resort, so the bicycles are a practical way to reach them.
