Nana BTS station is 300 m away, and the BTS Skytrain connects the area to Siam, where Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 2.1 km from the hotel. The Grand Palace, the royal complex in old Bangkok, is 6.7 km away, and Wat Arun stands on the bank of the Chao Phraya river. Around Nana, the sois are lined with street-food stalls and massage shops, and the streets stay busy into the evening.

A good day can combine the Jim Thompson House, a museum in a traditional Thai house, with a visit to Siam Paragon, and then the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the old city, reached by taxi or by the Skytrain. The old city is quieter than Nana, with temples and riverside walks, so it makes a change from the busy sois of the Sukhumvit area. Guests who spend a full day there can return to the hotel by the Skytrain in the evening.
