Maikhao Beach Residence

The rooms at Maikhao Beach Residence include suites, a double room and twin rooms, and some rooms overlook the pool. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a seating area, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, an electric kettle, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace.

Some suites have mountain views, and several suites sleep up to four or five guests, and the double room is for two guests. King beds are found in the suites and the double room, and bathrooms can include a walk-in shower, towels and toiletries. Air conditioning and flat-screen TVs appear in several of the suites.

Phuket International Airport is 1.6 km from the hotel, so it is the nearest airport for arrivals by air. Nai Yang Beach is 3.9 km away, and the Naiyang national Park lies close to it, with forest trails and beaches to explore. The Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation works on the beach to protect nesting turtles, and in the evening the Ni Yang Night Market is nearby for street food and local shopping. Getting around the island is easiest by car, and car hire can be arranged at the property.

For a longer day, Patong Beach, with its restaurants and nightlife, is 24.2 km away, and the Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hilltop with island views, is 33.2 km away. Both make a full day out from the hotel: one for beach life and one for the views across the island. A sunset viewpoint is also nearby, for the end of a day on the beach.
