Every room at Machima House has free Wi-Fi, and the rooms measure between 20 and 25 m². King beds are the most common bed across the rooms, and some rooms have a double bed, a queen bed or a futon.

The main sights of Phuket Town are close by. The Peranakan Museum, which covers Peranakan culture and the history of the town, and the clock tower in the centre are both a short walk away. The local bus terminal is also a short walk from the hotel, which is 690 m from public transportation. Further afield, Wat Chalong's Chaithararam Temple is 7.1 km away, and Patong Beach, the island's best-known beach resort, is 10.9 km away.

A good day could start with a walk around the old town's shophouses and shrines, then a trip to Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples. Back in town, the Plein Poa Night Market, 400 m from the hotel, is a short walk for the evening, and an afternoon at Patong Beach makes a full day, reached by road and well suited to a relaxed beach visit.
