Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, where the bay is lined with restaurants, tour offices and longtail boat piers. The town is built around its beach, and the bay's boat traffic gives the waterfront a busy feel. Ao Nang Beach is 550 m from the property, and the streets nearby fill up in the evening with street-food stalls and small shops.

The Ao Nang Night Market is 350 m away, and Noppharathara Beach is 500 m away. Longtail boats from the Ao Nang pier head to Poda and Tup islands, and to Railay, a limestone peninsula reached mainly by boat, with its cliffs and beaches. Poda Island is 7.2 km from the property. Emerald Pool, a natural jungle pool, lies much farther inland, beyond the town and its roads.

A good day in the area could start on Ao Nang Beach, continue with a boat trip to Poda Island, and finish at the night market in the evening. Krabi International Airport is 18.9 km away and is the nearest airport for the area. Longer boat excursions reach the Hong Islands, and inland the Tiger Cave Temple, known as Wat Tham Suea, is a well-known temple.
