Nai Harn Beach, a sandy bay with a freshwater lake behind it, is 1.8 km away, and the Phuket Seashell Museum, which displays a collection of seashells, is 900 m away. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is the island's best-known Buddhist temple.

A day out could start with a swim at Nai Harn Beach and continue to Big Buddha Phuket, the large white statue on its hill, which is 5.7 km away.
