The beach is about 460 m from the villa, and Nai Harn Beach, a long bay with a relaxed feel, is 1.6 km away. Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 5.8 km away and gives wide views over the island. Kata Beach is 4.8 km away and Patong Beach 12.6 km, for busier days out. Wat Chalong, the best-known temple on the island, lies further north.

A morning could start at the Rawai fish market, then continue to the Phuket Seashell Museum and the pier, where boats leave for the islands. In the afternoon, a swim at Nai Harn suits a slower day, and late in the day the Promthep Cape is a popular place to watch the sunset. A car or scooter gives the easiest access to the beaches and the temples, and the pier and the market can be combined with a visit to the temples in a single day.
