The island is reached by boat from the mainland, and the nearest airport is Krabi.

Ton Sai Bay is 600 m away, and the village of Ton Sai sits beside it with its boat landings. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, also 600 m away, is a climb above the isthmus with views over both bays. Loh Dalum Beach is 850 m away, on the bay that gives the area its name, and Monkey Beach is 2 km away. The Ton Sai Pier, where boats from the mainland come in, is 750 m from the property.

A day could begin with the walk up to the Viewpoint, continue around Ton Sai Bay, and end with a boat trip to Ao Maya, the bay on Phi Phi Leh that is reached only by boat. During the rainy months, rough seas can stop boat trips, so it helps to keep island excursions flexible.
