Lung Pod Kow Resort

The rooms at Lung Pod Kow Resort differ in size and layout. A standard cottage of 20 m² can be set up with a choice of bed set-ups, a 40 m² room sleeps up to six guests, and a 16 m² room sleeps up to three.

Several rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom, and the bungalows have sofa beds. Non-smoking rooms are available at the resort.

Lung Pod Kow Resort is in the Pathio area of Chumphon, a provincial town on the Gulf of Thailand in southern Thailand, with the beach 70 m away. A short walk takes you from the resort to the sand, and for going further afield a taxi or a car is useful.

Close by, the viewpoint on the coast road is 200 m away, a short walk for a view along the shore. Cape Pathiu Pier, the ferry terminal, is 2.5 km away, and Pathio train station is 5.3 km from the resort. Ban Don Sai and Ban Don Ta Kien are two villages nearby, and KMITL Park, 3.1 km away, is a park for a relaxed walk.

A day could start with a swim at the beach, followed by a walk to the viewpoint in the late afternoon. The ferry pier at Cape Pathiu is worth a visit for anyone who likes to watch boats come and go. For a longer outing, Ao Yai-I is a coastal attraction further along, reached by taxi or car. Back at the resort, the poolside bar makes a simple place to end the day.
