The nearest transport links are close: Makkasan station on the Airport Rail Link is 600 m away, and Phetchaburi MRT station is 850 m away. The rail line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 22.1 km from the hotel. Jim Thompson House, the museum house of the Thai silk pioneer, is 3 km away, and the Grand Palace, in Bangkok's old city, is 6.9 km away.

A full day could start at Jim Thompson House, set in a garden among several traditional Thai houses, then continue to the Grand Palace. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) stands within the same complex, so one visit covers both. Wat Arun, known as the Temple of Dawn, lies across the Chao Phraya river from the Grand Palace and makes a good last stop. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, open at weekends, is a good alternative for a second day.
