Both stations are on the Blue Line, which runs through the centre of the city. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 2.8 km from the property, is one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok, with clothing, food and craft stalls. The Grand Palace, 9.8 km away, is the best-known royal complex in the old city.

A day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market and continue to the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum that was once the home of the silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson. Huai Khwang Market, 1.4 km away, is a local market for everyday shopping and a quieter alternative to the weekend crowds. For the riverside temples and the Grand Palace, a taxi is the simplest option from here.
