Long Beach Garden Resort

The accommodation is made up of bungalows and rooms with a choice of beds: a king bed, a single bed with a double bed, or a king bed with a bunk bed for groups of four. Some of them measure 20 m², and the Fan Bungalow and the Air Conditioning Bungalow both have garden views.

Private bathrooms come with several of the rooms, and some have a private entrance, a dining table or a balcony or terrace. Air conditioning is available in some rooms, and mosquito nets are provided in others. Blackout curtains and linen are provided in several of the rooms, and some bungalows sleep up to four guests.

The resort's facilities include a restaurant, a bar and room service, along with a garden and a terrace for relaxing outdoors. A spa and sauna, massage treatments and a private beach are also part of the resort, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Activities include canoeing, diving, fishing, snorkelling and tours, and bicycles, car hire and an airport transfer are available. Laundry service, daily housekeeping, currency exchange and luggage storage are also offered, and parking is free on site.

Shops and a convenience store are on site, and private check-in and check-out are available. Safety deposit boxes, luggage storage and dry cleaning are also available, and the resort has a shared lounge and TV area.

Pra Ae Beach, also called Long Beach, is a stretch of sand on Koh Lanta, a large island in Krabi Province on Thailand's Andaman coast. The area is a relaxed base for a beach holiday, with small dive shops, restaurants and massage places along the roads near the sand. Long Beach Garden Resort is set among gardens here, and it has its own private beach.

Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium is 700 m away, and Klong Dao Beach, another stretch of sand, is 850 m away. Further afield, Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 10.3 km away and the Lanta Old Town is 11.8 km away, a traditional town worth a visit. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 17.9 km away, protects forest and islands. The Monday Market is also close by, and longer trips around the island are usually made by scooter or car.

A good day could start with a swim at Klong Dao Beach, then a visit to the Lanta Old Town and an afternoon exploring the Khao Mai Kaew Cave. For a full day out, Mu Ko Lanta National Park is the place to head for forest walks and island views, and tours can be arranged at the resort.
