Little White House Au Nang lies in Tambon Ao Nang, so the sea, the promenade and the boat piers are all close to hand. The promenade is lined with local shops, cafés and seafood places, and the town is lively after dark.

Ao Nang Beach is 3.5 km away, and the Ao Nang Beach Pier, where boats leave for the islands, is 3.7 km away. Railay Beach, reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang, is 4 km away, and Phra Nang Cave is on the same peninsula. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple climbed by a long staircase, is 11.8 km away. A car or scooter is useful for trips further afield, while Railay and the islands are reached by boat.

A good day could start with a walk along the promenade, then a longtail boat to Railay Beach or Phra Nang Cave, with a boat trip to Poda Island or Tup Island in the afternoon if the sea allows. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough in the rainy season.
