Little Bear

Little Bear offers Deluxe and Standard rooms, and free WiFi is available in all rooms. The Deluxe room measures 25 m², has a city view and sleeps up to two guests. The Standard rooms sleep up to three guests.

Some of the rooms have no window. Rooms are air-conditioned and include satellite channels on the TV.

Little Bear provides free WiFi in all rooms, and WiFi is also available in public areas. Internet access is possible by LAN and wirelessly, and the TV offers satellite and cable channels. Free parking nearby is available, and there is bicycle parking too.

The guesthouse also offers daily housekeeping, lockers, a laundromat, and xerox and fax services in its business centre. Air conditioning is available in the public areas as well.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, a closet and a clothes rack, and some have a balcony or terrace. Free bottled water and free instant coffee are also available, and the rooms are accessible by stairs.

Little Bear sits in central Hat Yai, a busy commercial city in Songkhla province in southern Thailand. The streets around the railway station are lined with shops, markets and food stalls, and the area appeals to travellers who want easy access to trains and the city's shopping on foot or by short taxi ride. Hat Yai's population mixes Thai, Chinese and Malay communities, which shows in the food and in the mosques and temples around town.

The railway station is 600 m from the guesthouse. Wat Hat Yai Nai, a Buddhist temple, is 900 m away, and Kim Yong Market is 1.1 km away. The Asean Night Bazaar Hatyai is 2.5 km away, and Hat Yai International Airport is 10.5 km away, so visitors coming from further afield usually arrive by air.

A day here could start with a stroll through the markets around Santisuk and Kim Yong, then a visit to the Magic Eye 3D Museum and an afternoon in Hat Yai Municipal Park, a green place for a slow walk. The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum is further out, and the Prince Mahidol Monument stands nearby, so the rail station makes it easy to combine the city with a longer trip.
