Lingling Hostel

Every room at Lingling Hostel is a dormitory room of 28 m² with one bunk bed, and all of them have air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are a bed in a female-only dormitory, a bed in a mixed dormitory and a single bed in a six-bed dormitory, each for one guest.

Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and the rooms are fitted with blackout curtains, linens and a socket near the bed. Guests can also use the garden, the terrace and the shared lounge and TV area of the hostel.

Lingling Hostel offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms and in the public areas, and the air conditioning extends to the public area as well. The bar runs a happy hour and sits alongside a shared lounge and TV area, billiards and a game room.

The property has a nightclub and on-site entertainment, and guests can rest in the garden or on the terrace, both outdoors. Lockers and safety deposit boxes are available for guests' belongings, and English is among the languages spoken.

The property is smoke-free and adults-only, so the hostel is set up for guests aged 18 and over. The lounge, the bar and the game room are all shared spaces for guests.

Haad Rin is a beach area on Ko Pha-ngan, and the streets behind the sand are lined with bars, guesthouses and restaurants, so the evenings are lively. Lingling Hostel is among them, 130 m from the beach. Ko Pha-ngan is an island, so the last stage of the trip is by boat: Samui Airport (USM) is 14 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, while Surat Thani Airport is further away on the mainland.

The Full Moon Party takes place on Haad Rin beach, around 150 m from the hostel, and it is one of the area's best-known evenings. The Haad Rin Viewpoint, 700 m away, is a lookout point above the area, and Haad Yuan beach, 2.1 km away, is another stretch of sand to explore.

A day could start with a swim at Haad Rin beach, follow with the walk up to the viewpoint, and end at one of the bars along the sand. The walk back from the viewpoint brings you down to the beach road, where the bars are close at hand. Back at the hostel, the shared lounge and TV area and the garden give guests a quieter place to spend the evening.
