Legendha Sukhothai

Every room at Legendha Sukhothai looks out onto the garden and has a private bathroom. The rooms measure from 28 m² to 60 m², and the villa sleeps up to five guests.

Each room comes with bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries, towels and an electric kettle, and several rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups. The ruins date from the period when Sukhothai was the capital of the kingdom, roughly the 13th to the 15th centuries, and Si Satchanalai Historical Park is 45.9 km away.

Wat Chang Lom, 200 m away, has elephant sculptures around its chedi, and Wat Mahathat, the central temple of the ruins, is known for a Buddha head set among tree roots. Wat Sri Chum, 2.9 km away, houses a huge seated Buddha, and the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum, which holds finds from the kingdom, is also nearby. The Saturday Night Market in Old Sukhothai is about 550 m from the hotel, and the nearest airport, Sukhothai Airport, is 26.1 km away.

A full day could start at Wat Mahathat and Wat Sri Chum, continue to the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum for the history of the kingdom, and end with a walk to the night market in Old Sukhothai. The Sukhothai Loi Krathong and Candle Festival is held each year in the historical park, so the ruins are a lively place to visit at that time of year.
