Le Pes Villas

The rooms at Le Pes Villas look out over either the pool or the garden. Two of the doubles measure 24 m², and there is a 40 m² suite with a pool view, a 50 m² Family Room and a 56 m² two-bedroom villa. Rooms can have air conditioning, electric kettles, toiletries and flat-screen TVs, and several have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The Family Room sleeps up to eight guests and the Two-Bedroom Villa up to nine. The triple rooms sleep up to four, and the doubles and suites up to three. The Pool Access Suite also has a balcony or terrace, a mini bar and a refrigerator.

The grounds of Le Pes Villas include an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, along with a fitness centre, a yoga room and a massage service. There is a bar and room service, and the resort has a vegetarian restaurant alongside restaurants serving Asian cuisine.

The resort also offers tours, bicycles, car hire and activities such as diving, snorkelling and fishing. There is an airport transfer and a shuttle service, plus laundry service, daily housekeeping and luggage storage.

Parking is free on site and includes a car power charging station, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and in public areas. The property is wheelchair accessible, with facilities for disabled guests.

Le Pes Villas stands in Khanom, a coastal district of Nakhon Si Thammarat province on the Gulf of Thailand. The landscape here is made of small villages and beaches rather than of the provincial city, so the setting is simpler and slower paced. Travellers who want the sea and village life more than a busy town will find the district a calm setting for a trip.

Within a few kilometres, Kho Khao Beach lies 3.3 km away and Khanom Beach 6.1 km away, both along the local coastline. The viewpoint at the Old Pier, 2.1 km from the resort, looks out over the coast, and the village of Ban Tha Muang is 400 m away. Haad Khanom is another sandy stretch of the same coastline, so beach days along the shore can be varied. Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport is 76.5 km away on the mainland, and Samui Airport lies across the water on Koh Samui.

A day could start at the Old Pier viewpoint, continue to Kho Khao Beach and finish on the sand at Khanom Beach. The Coral Pagoda, an attraction in the district, can be added to the same outing, and the resort's pool and garden make a quiet break in the middle of the day.
