Lanta smile inn

Lanta smile inn offers the Superior Apartment, a 20 m² apartment with a mountain view, air conditioning and a private bathroom, sleeping up to three guests. It has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an electric kettle, toiletries, towels and a shower.

Across the rooms of the guesthouse, rooms can have a balcony or terrace, a seating area, a separate dining area with a dining table, a desk, a coffee and tea maker, a mini bar and a refrigerator. Some rooms also have an in-room safe box and free bottled water, and the rooms are fitted with tile or marble flooring.

The guesthouse has a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge with a TV, where guests can meet, and the garden and terrace give guests a place to sit outdoors. A salon is on site, and daily housekeeping, laundry service, dry cleaning, ironing service and luggage storage are also offered.

Activities include canoeing, diving, fishing, horseback riding and snorkelling, and tours can be arranged. Bicycles and car hire can also be arranged through the property.

Pra Ae Beach is a sandy stretch of Koh Lanta, the long island in Krabi province in the Andaman Sea, where the beach runs along the guesthouses and the island's main village of Saladan lies a short distance away. The area has a relaxed feel, with the sea close at hand and the sand and shade of the coastline shaping the daily pace.

Long Beach, Koh Lanta is 350 m from the guesthouse, and Klong Dao Beach is 2 km away, a second sandy shore on the island's coast. Lanta Old Town, 10.7 km away, is a traditional fishing town with old wooden houses and a slower pace than the beaches. Mu Ko Lanta National Park covers forest and coastline on the island, and the Khlong Chak waterfall lies in the forested interior.

A day here can start with a swim at Long Beach and continue with a walk or ride to Lanta Old Town, with the national park and the Khlong Chak waterfall for a day in the forest. Koh Lanta has no airport: travellers fly to Krabi International Airport, 54.8 km away on the mainland, and cross to the island by ferry, so sea conditions can affect the crossings in the rainy months.
