Lanta Scenic Bungalow

Air conditioning is one of the room features at Lanta Scenic Bungalow, and the accommodation runs from 32 m² bungalows to a 90 m² two-bedroom villa. Several bungalows have a balcony or terrace, and others have a garden view and a private entrance.

The Superior and Deluxe Bungalows measure 35 m² and sleep up to three guests, while the family bungalows measure 36 m² and sleep up to four. Family bungalows come with either two single beds and a double bed, or a queen bed and a bunk bed. The two-bedroom villa, at 90 m², also sleeps up to four, and the 32 m² bungalow sleeps up to two.

Lanta Scenic Bungalow has both an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a children's swimming pool, so there is water for guests of every age. The garden and the terrace give space to sit outside, and a yoga room is available for guests who want to practise.

For dining there is a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and BBQ facilities, and room service is offered. Food delivery and a vending machine are also available, and a buffet breakfast is offered as well.

Other services include a fitness centre, a massage service, diving, snorkelling, tours, car hire, laundry service and daily housekeeping. A playground and a kids meal option make the property practical for families with young children, and facilities for disabled guests are available.

The property is 100 m from Klong Dao Beach, on Koh Lanta in Krabi province, southern Thailand. Koh Lanta is a long island of beaches, hills and forest, and the Klong Dao stretch is a relaxed place to stay. Most days here revolve around the sand, with the beach a short walk from the bungalows and the pools close at hand.

Kantiang Bay, 900 m away, is a sheltered bay with a sandy shoreline, and Long Beach, 1.8 km away, is one of the island's best-known stretches of sand. Lanta Old Town, with its older houses and quiet lanes, is a drive away from the beaches, and the Sala Dan ferry pier is 1.7 km away, where boats from the mainland arrive.

A good day starts with a swim at Klong Dao Beach and continues inland to Khlong Chak Waterfall, 20 km away, in the island's forested interior. Mu Ko Lanta National Park protects the coasts and the islets around the island, and it is a good place for a full day out. The local Muay Thai stadium is also close to the property. Both the waterfall and the national park are reached by road, so plan the day with transport in mind.
