Visitors who arrive by air at Krabi International Airport make the ferry crossing as the last stage of the trip.

Lung Phon Beach, 1.4 km away, is another stretch of sand to walk along, and Klong Dao Beach, 5.6 km away, is one of the island's longer beaches. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 13.6 km away, protects forest and coastline on the island. The Monday Market, 5.7 km away, is a weekly market worth a visit, and snorkelling and diving are popular in these waters.

A good day could start with a swim at Khlong Khong Beach, continue with the forest trails of the national park and end at the Monday Market. Back at the hotel, the bar and the coffee shop offer a place to rest after a day out, and the garden and terrace give a place to sit outdoors after dinner. Boat trips depend on sea conditions, which are often rougher during the rainy months.
