Lanta Cottage

The rooms at Lanta Cottage come in several sizes, from standard rooms of 24 and 25 m² to a family room of 64 m² with a king bed and a single bed. Some rooms have a garden view, others a pool view or a nature view, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Kantiang Bay is another sandy bay on the island, and the coast here has several beaches for a day out.

Getting to the island usually means flying into Krabi International Airport, 51.9 km away on the mainland, and then taking a boat. The Sala Dan Pier, 1.9 km from Lanta Cottage, is the ferry terminal where boats from the mainland dock, and an airport transfer is offered by the property. Further afield, Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 19.7 km away, protects a large area of forest and coast, and the Monday Market is held near the property.

A good day out combines a swim at Klong Dao Beach with a walk in Mu Ko Lanta National Park, and an afternoon at Khao Mai Kaew Cave, one of the island's better-known sights. Lanta Old Town adds a look at the island's older settlement. In the rainy months, rough seas can stop boat trips from the pier, so a day on the water may need to be planned around the weather.
