The Sunset Viewpoint is a short way along the road, a place to watch the sun go down over the water, and Lanta Old Town, 7.7 km away, is the island's traditional old town, a different side of Koh Lanta from the beaches. The nearest airport is Krabi International Airport, 59.3 km away on the mainland, and the island is reached by ferry from the mainland pier, so the final part of the journey is by boat.
