Lan Bua Resort

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Lan Bua Resort, and the rooms measure between 30 and 40 m². Several room types have a lake view, and some of them open onto a balcony.

Lan Bua Resort is in Khuan Khanun district, in the countryside of Phatthalung, a province in southern Thailand known for nang talung, the traditional shadow puppet theatre. The landscape here is green and open, with lakes and wetlands, and the pace is calm, away from the busier beach towns. Phatthalung town itself is small and quiet.

The best-known nearby landmark is Thale Noi, a large lake and wetland known for its waterbirds, 900 m from the resort. Its watching tower, 1,000 m away, gives a view across the wetland. Wat Khao O, a pagoda 6.9 km away, and Pak Khlong railway station, also 6.9 km away, are further afield, so having your own transport makes these sights easier to reach.

A day could begin at the lake and its watching tower, then continue to Wat Khao O in the afternoon before returning to the resort, where the front desk is open around the clock. The distances here are short enough to visit both in one day.
