Lamoon Vivit

The rooms at Lamoon Vivit are double rooms and family rooms, and several have a shared bathroom. Rooms can have individual air conditioning, blackout curtains, a walk-in shower, toiletries and towels.

The Double Room measures 20 m² and sleeps up to two guests on a double bed. The 25 m² Family Room sleeps up to four guests on four bunk beds and has a city view, and another family room with a city view sleeps up to three guests. A further double room sleeps up to three, and a family room with a shared bathroom sleeps up to five.

The front desk is open 24 hours, and there is a concierge and luggage storage. Daily housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry service are available. For food and drink there is room service, a vending machine, bottled water and food delivery, and guests can use a shared kitchen.

Lamoon Vivit is in the old city of Bangkok, in the Khaosan area on San Chao Poh Sua, where temples, royal buildings and old shophouses sit close together. The streets around the hotel mix guesthouses, street food stalls and cafés, so the area has a lively backpacker feel during the day and in the evening. The lanes around the hotel are best explored on foot.

The main sights are within walking distance. The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the royal complex with its gilded halls and sacred temple, are a short walk away, and Wat Phra Chetuphon, home to a large reclining Buddha, is close by. Wat Arun, the temple with a tall spire on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 1.5 km away, and the Giant Swing stands near Wat Suthat. Public transport is a short walk too, with Sam Yot MRT station and Wang Burapha station close by, while Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are 21.2 km and 28.1 km away.

A good walking day can start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, continue to Wat Phra Chetuphon, then cross the Chao Phraya by ferry to Wat Arun. Khaosan Road is a lively finish to the day, a short walk from the hotel.
