The Lamai night market, about 350 m away, is a short walk for an evening of stalls and food. Wat Lamai, a temple about 1 km away, makes a quieter stop, and Hin Ta and Hin Yai, the rock formations known locally as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, lie 1.7 km away. Further afield, the Big Buddha is 11.8 km away and Samui Airport is 9.3 km away, and both are reachable by road across the island.

A good day here starts with the beach and the pool, then moves to a walk through the village to the night market in the evening. For a day out, the rock formations and Wat Lamai are close by, and Na Muang Waterfall makes a trip further afield.
