Laike Hotel

Rooms at Laike Hotel range from 35 m² deluxe rooms to a 70 m² one-bedroom suite, with double, twin, queen and king beds across the rooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, an electric kettle, a hair dryer and towels, and some have a private bathroom.

Children aged 1 to 6 can stay free of charge using the existing bedding, and an extra bed can be added for an additional charge. Rooms sleep up to two or three guests, and a baby cot or crib can be requested directly from the hotel, subject to availability.

It is a neighbourhood setting rather than the sightseeing core, with a quieter, local feel, so travellers can cross the river to see the old city and return to a calmer street in the evening.

Bang Mot Market is 500 m from the hotel, and Wat Si Suk and Wat Yai Rom are also close by to the hotel.Wat Arun stands on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya River, and the Grand Palace, 9 km away, is on the far side of the river. Wat Sing train station is 1.6 km away, and there is an airport transfer, although Don Mueang Airport is 30.7 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport 31.4 km.

A full day out could start with Wat Arun on the riverbank and continue to the Grand Palace area on the other side of the water. Khaosan Road is the place for street food and the backpacker scene in the evening, while Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market across the city, is a longer trip for a weekend morning.
