Kwankeaw resort

The rooms at Kwankeaw resort include Deluxe and Standard rooms with a king bed, several with a garden view, along with rooms allocated on arrival. Some rooms sleep up to three guests and others two.

Across the property, rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a refrigerator, a kettle, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a flat-screen TV and a balcony or terrace. Free bottled water and instant coffee are also available in the rooms.

The 24-hour front desk is open around the clock, and daily housekeeping is offered to guests. Free parking is available on site, and pets are allowed, though charges may apply.

Kwankeaw resort is on Phaholyothin Road in the town of Nakhon Sawan, the capital of its province in central Thailand. Most of the places around the resort are small villages and hamlets, so the setting feels rural even though the town is close by.

Among the nearby sights are Wihan Phra Pothisat Guan Yin Dan Satip, a temple hall 3.6 km from the resort, and Wat Sri Uthum Phon, a pagoda 5.1 km away. Wat Si Amphawan, a Buddhist temple, lies at a similar distance, while Thanthip Cave is 7.2 km out in the countryside. Khao Luang Forest Park, which has a campsite, is a short drive further on, and Pak Nam Pho Station is 18.3 km away for anyone arriving by train.

Most of these sights are a short drive apart, so a car makes the day easier, since the nearest airport, Phitsanulok, is 116.5 km away and the sights are spread across the countryside. A day could begin at the temple hall, continue to the pagoda and Thanthip Cave, and end at Khao Luang Forest Park. For longer journeys, Pak Nam Pho Station is the railway station in the resort's surroundings, and Phitsanulok Airport is the closest airport, so it is worth planning the final stretch by road from either one.
