Kudi Hostel

Every room at Kudi Hostel has air conditioning. The rooms run from mixed dormitory beds, where a bunk bed or a single bed is for one guest, to private twin, double and triple rooms for up to three guests. Several rooms use a shared bathroom.

The dormitory beds are for one guest each, while the twin, double and triple rooms sleep two or three. Bed set-ups include bunk, single and double beds, and many rooms have linens and a closet. A few rooms also have a seating area, a fan or a clothes rack, and the Economical Triple Room sleeps three guests with a single bed and a double bed.

The Saint Louis BTS Station is 450 m away, and the Silom line links it with Siam, where Siam Paragon and the large shopping centres are. The Oriental Pier, 1 km away, is the riverboat stop for trips on the Chao Phraya, and Wat Arun, across the river, is 4.3 km away and one of the best-known temples in Bangkok. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 24.8 km away.

A good day could start with a riverboat along the Chao Phraya from Oriental Pier towards Wat Arun, followed by a walk back through Silom to the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, 150 m from the hotel, and the Chong Nonsi Canal Park (Phase 2). Thai cooking schools on the nearby streets offer a way to spend an afternoon, and the Bangkokian Museum, in an old house nearby, shows how the Bang Rak neighbourhood looked in earlier years, before the office towers went up.
