Kohjum Relax Beach

The rooms at Kohjum Relax Beach measure between 60 and 70 m², and each one has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and bathrobes, plus an electric kettle. Capacity runs from two to five guests.

Some rooms add a single bed or sofa bed to the main beds, and children aged 0 to 6 can stay free of charge using the existing bedding.

The guesthouse has a private beach, a garden and a terrace, along with free Wi-Fi in all rooms and WiFi in the public areas. Dining is covered by a restaurant, a bar, room service, a coffee shop and grocery delivery, and food delivery is also available.

For days out, there are snorkelling, canoeing, diving, fishing, hiking, bicycles, windsurfing and non-motorised water sports, and tours are offered. An airport transfer and a shuttle service are also facilities, along with a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.

Koh Jum / Koh Pu is a small island in Krabi province, in the Andaman Sea, and the guesthouse sits in Ao Ting Rai, a bay with a small village of the same name. The island is quiet and rural, with fishing villages, hills in the interior and a coastline of small bays, and it suits people who want a beach, a walk and a slower pace more than nightlife. For shops and a wider choice of restaurants, the mainland around Krabi is the place to go.

Ao Ting Rai Beach is 50 m from the property, and Ao Thidiaw Beach is 900 m away, so the sand is never far. Sunset Beach lies further along the coast, Coconut Beach is another separate stretch of sand on the island, and Khao Ko Pu, a peak 1.5 km away, offers a hike inland. Boats from the mainland arrive at the Koh Jum pier, 5.3 km from the guesthouse, while the village of Ban Koh Pu has its own ferry pier.

A day here can be built around the beach, with snorkelling, canoeing and fishing from the guesthouse, a hike up Khao Ko Pu, or a bike ride along the coast. Koh Jum is reached by boat from the mainland, so the crossing from Krabi is the first part of any trip, and it is worth allowing time for it.
