Koh Tao Relax Freedom Beach Resort

The rooms at Koh Tao Relax Freedom Beach Resort include bungalows and villas, from a 34 m² Deluxe Seaview Bungalow for two guests to a 70 m² Two Bedroom Seafront Villa for up to six. Several rooms have sea or ocean views, and the Family Sea View Bungalow measures 45 m² and sleeps up to four guests.

Some rooms add air conditioning, a kettle and a refrigerator, and the two-bedroom villa has its own private entrance. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer in the rooms that list them, so the choice between a bungalow and a larger villa depends mainly on the size of your group.

The resort has a private beach and beachfront setting, with restaurants, a bar and room service on site. Free parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and available in the public areas.

Ferries from the mainland call at the island's pier, so the last part of every trip to the resort is by boat.

Freedom Beach is 150 m away, and the Snorkel beach and Freedom Beach 2 are a few hundred metres further along the coast. Chalok Ban Kao Bay lies 450 m away, and the John - Suwan Mountain View Point, a viewpoint over the bays, is 250 m away. The ferry pier is 2.5 km away, and Sairee Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, is 3.1 km away.

For a day out, the island's boat trips reach Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet with a well-known viewpoint, while the bays around the resort suit a morning swim and a walk along the shore. The beaches here are close enough to reach on foot, so the coast can be explored without a long journey, and the walk up to the viewpoint is one of the easiest ways to see the bays from above.
