Ko Lipe is a small island in the Andaman Sea, off Satun province in southern Thailand, and the property is in the village part of the island, close to the main beaches and the ferry landing. The island is compact, and beaches, bars and dive operators sit close to one another, so the paths between them are the way most people get around on foot.

Sunrise Beach is the nearest beach at 300 m, and Pattaya Beach is 350 m away, with the Ko Lipe Ferry Terminal 500 m from the property for arrivals by boat. Across the water, Koh Adang, a neighbouring island in Tarutao National Park, lies 6.1 km away and is reached by boat.

Diving and snorkelling are the main things to do from here, and the dive company Adang Sea Divers is close by, so a boat trip to the nearby islands is an easy day out. Sunset Beach, 900 m away, is a short walk along the coast. Walking is the easiest way to get around the village and the nearby beaches, all within a few hundred metres. Boats to the outlying islands can be cancelled in rough seas, which is common in the rainy season.
