Most of the sights are reached by road, so a car or a scooter is the easiest way to get around. The Klong Muang Plaza shopping area and the hospital at Sathani Anamai Khlong Muang are also close by for everyday needs, and the Chalamkhow Muay Thai gym is nearby for anyone who wants to train while on holiday.

A day out can start at Nang An Pier, 3.5 km away, for boat trips to the islands nearby, and continue to the Pha Nam Yod waterfall in the hills near Ao Nang, which is reached by road. Krabi International Airport is 23.7 km away. Boat trips from the pier depend on sea conditions, which can be rougher during the rainy season.
