Klong Muang Beach is 400 m away, and the Klong Muang Sunday and Tuesday Market, a local market, is 1.6 km away. Ao Nang Beach, 7.8 km away, is the main resort beach in the area, and longtail boats from there reach Railay, which has no road access. The Noppharat Thara Pier is the ferry terminal for trips out to the islands off the coast, so many visitors plan their boat days around it.

A good day could start with a boat trip from the pier to Poda and Tup islands, both reached only by boat, and continue with a visit to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 20.7 km away, where a long flight of steps climbs to a hilltop shrine. Back in Klong Muang, the beach is a good place to finish the day, with the hotel close enough to the sand to make a relaxed evening of it.
