Kingsacre

Each room at Kingsacre has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and bathrobes, and an electric kettle. Floor areas range from 15 m² to 50 m², and the rooms are a mix of bamboo cabins, bungalows, a cottage and double and twin rooms.

Bed set-ups include king, queen and single beds, so both twin and double arrangements are available, and the rooms take up to three guests. Air conditioning and a fan are fitted in the cabins and in the bungalow with a fan, several rooms also have a hair dryer, and several have a TV with streaming services such as Netflix.

The grounds have an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside bar, plus a bar, a snack bar and a garden. A massage service, a terrace and food delivery are also available, and an alternative meal arrangement can be made.

Kingsacre is in Thalang district, on Phuket's quieter side, where the main draw is the long, unhurried sweep of Nai Yang Beach. The hotel is about 730 m from the sand, and the coast here lies at the edge of Sirinat National Park, a protected area of beach and forest. The national park and its beaches are the natural first stop for anyone who wants to see the coast away from the resort strips. Phuket Town, the island's main town, is further away, so many of the day's plans stay close by, on the beach and in the park.

Phuket International Airport is 3 km away, and Wat Mongkol Wararam, a Buddhist temple, lies close to the hotel. The larger sights are further off: Patong Beach, the island's busy resort beach with its restaurants and nightlife, is 19.7 km away, while the beaches of Kata and Karon lie further around the coast.

A day out could start with a walk along Nai Yang Beach and through Sirinat National Park, 800 m from the hotel, then continue to the Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue 28.6 km away. A sunset viewpoint is also close by. Back at Kingsacre, the pool and garden make a quiet end to the day.
