The property is a single house of 120 m² for up to five guests, with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. Its beds can be arranged in a choice of set-ups, so the house can be fitted to the size of the group.

Air conditioning and a private entrance come with the house, along with a flat-screen TV, satellite or cable channels, and a coffee or tea maker. Linens and toiletries are provided, and the house has its own balcony or terrace.

It is a quiet setting rather than a town centre, so a car makes getting around much easier, and the property has free parking for it on site. Surat Thani city, the provincial capital, is the main town nearby, and it can be reached by road for shops and services.

Ratchaprapha Dam is 4.3 km away, and Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir in the Khao Sok area, is 6 km. A viewpoint over the lake is 3 km from the property, and the Ratchaprabha Marina, with its ferry terminal, is 3.2 km away. The lake area is a natural base for a day among the hills and water, and the house is a practical place to stay for travellers who want to be out on the reservoirs and in the forest for much of the day.

A day could start at the dam and continue to the lake viewpoint, with the Ratchaprapha Forest Park and the Khao Phang Camping close by. Surat Thani Airport is 38.5 km away, so the airport drive needs planning in advance, and the house has its own car park for the return journey.
