Khao San Road is a few hundred metres from the hotel, and the Phra Arthit ferry pier on the Chao Phraya river is close by, with boats running along the water. The Grand Palace, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls, is 1.6 km away, and Wat Arun, on the opposite bank of the river, is 2.3 km away. The Pipit Banglamphu History Museum is only 100 m from the hotel.

For a day out, Chatuchak Weekend Market is 6.9 km away and is one of the largest markets in the city, with stalls selling clothes, food and crafts across many lanes. Don Mueang airport lies 20.3 km from the hotel, while Suvarnabhumi Airport is further out, so allow time for the trip from the airport. The Phra Arthit pier makes it easy to take a boat along the river, which is a pleasant way to see the temples from the water.
