Kata Tranquil Villa

The rooms at Kata Tranquil Villa range from a 25 m² Deluxe Room with a queen bed and a street view to a 65 m² King Suite Room with a garden view and a bathtub. A two-bedroom villa of 50 m² with a nature view sleeps up to four guests, and two studio suites sleep up to three.

Several rooms have a private bathroom, and rooms can have individual air conditioning. The 20 m² Family House has two bedrooms, a kitchen and a courtyard area, and the 43 m² superior villa sleeps up to two guests.

Kata Tranquil Villa has outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a spa with a sauna, a garden and a terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi is also offered in public areas, where there is air conditioning as well.

An airport transfer is offered, along with car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service, and tours can be arranged. Diving, snorkelling and hiking are offered too, and the hotel has luggage storage, laundry service, dry cleaning and ironing.

Asian and buffet breakfast options are offered, and a shared kitchen is available. Parking is available on site, and English, Mandarin and Thai are spoken. The front desk is staffed around the clock.

Kata Tranquil Villa is on Patak Road in the Kata-Karon Beach area, on the west coast of Phuket, where a long stretch of sand links two of the island's best-known beaches. Karon Beach is 700 m away, and Kata Beach lies a little further along the coast. The streets nearby have small shops, pharmacies and food stalls, and life along the beach road carries on into the evening, with the sea close enough for a stroll at any time of day.

The island's best-known sights are not far. The Big Buddha, a large white seated statue on a hilltop, is 1.4 km from the hotel, and Wat Chalong, one of the most important temples on Phuket, is 4.2 km away. Patong Beach, the busiest resort on the island, is 6.2 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 31.1 km away. Freedom Beach, a small secluded cove, is reached by boat or a steep path.

A day could start with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then continue on the beach at Karon or Kata in the afternoon. In the evening, the Karon Night Market has food stalls and shops, and Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with an evening show, is another place to visit after dark.
