Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's best-known temples, is 4.8 km away, and Patong Beach, 8 km away, is the island's resort area with the Bangla Road nightlife strip. Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so Phuket International Airport, 32.9 km away, is reached by road.

A good day could begin on Kata Beach, continue along the bay to Karon, and finish at the Kata Open Market. Phuket Town, the island's administrative centre, is a longer trip by road, so the beach area around the hotel is the natural place to spend most of a stay.
