Itsaraphap MRT station is 100 m away, right next to the hotel. Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall, tiered prang, is 700 m away, and Wat Ratchasittharam pagoda is 300 m away. A canal runs close by, and the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters and several mosques and temples lie within a few hundred metres.

A good day could start at Wat Arun, then head across the river to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, where the temples of the old city sit close together, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha is reached on foot from the Grand Palace. The Khao San Road area is a lively evening walk, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 9.6 km away, is best saved for a Saturday or Sunday morning, when it is open.
